I am digging the new Digsby application I just downloaded. This is a cross-platform Windows app that combines all your IM clients, e-mail accounts, and social networks into one perfect program.

Previously I used the cross-platform app Trillian for my IM clients. I was a die hard fan and user of Trillian, but ever since they started offering a paid "Pro" version I've noticed a distinct drop in updates and enhancements to Trillian. My biggest complaint with Trillian is that it doesn't offer GMail.

So, with Digsby, not only do I get GMail with all my other IM clients (seriously people, I can't handle all my friends being on different IMs, why can't we all pick one and move over there?), it checks my email, and gives me updates for Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

It sounds like a lot of updates to receive and information to keep up with, but I am a news freak! Now if only Digsby would also show my RSS feeds, then I would be in heaven.
